Indeed, Shakespeare. Four hundred years after your death, your words still ring true.
Welcome to my blog! Call me Amorailuv. Some of you lovely peeps may know me either from my older blog, The Phantasy Lives On (which is in a state of lovely chaos, must try to organize it a bit), or from school. I suspect that it's mostly the latter. But that's okay.
So I suspect that some of you, especially the ones who enjoy stalking people for fun online, would like to know a little bit about me. No problem...
I'm currently 17 years old, Asian and I attend high school in America. I'm very artsy and can't do mental math to save my life. I'm also very open-minded and have a good word for everyone. In my spare time I enjoy obsessing over a certain movie (which I think my friends and family have given up trying to prise me away from), reading, writing, drawing, making jewelry, procrastinating and living life.
So what's going to be published on this blog, anyway? Music and music reviews. But just because I am who I am, this blog will probably have more positive reviews than pannings. Singles, albums, obscure bands and world-famous ones. Alternative, pop, rock, electronic, instrumental, soundtracks, symphonic metal, vocal, New Age and songs that are completely unclassifiable...almost nothing will go untouched in this blog! I absolutely love alternative and symphonic metal, though, so I will probably lean more towards those genres. But I'll do my very best to touch on everything. Those who find certain more-alternative songs scary will find oodles of other stuff to look through.
Okay, here's the relatively short list of music genres and songs I probably will not post reviews on: rap, R/B, and country. I just generally don't listen to these genres, so I probably won't write a whole lot about them. I'll make an exception if a certain song is good enough to attract my attention.
I'm still figuring out how exactly to organize this blog so that people who prefer certain bands/types of songs/genres can browse through reviews for those genres and those songs. I'll probably devote certain weeks or certain months to, for example, New Age music or 30 Seconds to Mars or breakup songs.
I'm entering my senior year of high school but I still have to plow my way through a lot of college stuff. And also there's the constant pressure of schoolwork, family life and free time away from Blogspot, so don't expect me to post something every day or every few days. It might be a few times a week or even once a month. My life just keeps my schedule unpredictable in that way. Bear with me, hopefully sooner or later everything will smooth itself out.
Greetings from Amorailuv! May I present to you: PLAY ON, ROCK ON, LIVE ON...FOREVER!!
